As you all know, most of the high schoolers were away at camp this Sunday.  Because we had a small group, we were able to do things that are out of the ordinary.

First, we loaded the van and went to 7/11 for free slurpee day.  Then we went to McDonalds for $0.79 drinks, and then on to Chipotle for a lesson and chips and salsa.

We had our joys and concerns time there and even had a reasonably good discussion about oddness and greatness.

We have had seven people purchase a shift. That means I need people to fill shifts evenings and especially on Saturday. I will be calling around to get commitments… be ready!

Somehow I forgot Mother’s Day was Sunday. As a result, we don’t have youth group. Hang out with your mom; she will love it.

We do have a Movie Marathon on Saturday. I hope that makes up for it. See you guys!
